This is a conceptual design for a small pavilion by Francis A. Bitonti with FADstudio . This pavilion is the first in a series of explorations examining the intersection of structure and noise. The formal logic for the pavilion is generated using a probabilistic branching method. “Currently I am looking at ridged geometric logics that can be grown by some probabilistic or rather random aggregation logic. ” Essentially the project is a study in signal noise relationships. The “signal” being a periodic geometric system gradually transformed by the gradual introduction of noise into that system as it develops.
